2022 Copenhagen Reunion

WU Copenhagen Semester

Remember the thrill and excitement you felt when you first landed in Copenhagen and walked the winding streets of this charming medieval city?  What about your first day of classes … and the Little Mermaid?  You can reminisce about all those wonderful memories with fellow Washburn Semester to Copenhagen alumni at an upcoming reunion, October 21-22, 2022.

The Washburn University Alumni Association is inviting all former students who participated in Washburn Semester to Copenhagen to return to campus Homecoming weekend for this special reunion.  Among other activities, the Washburn Theatre and Music Departments will present Andersen: A Fairy Tale Life, an original musical written by one of the students who went on the very first Copenhagen trip, June McCarthy Clair.  The production portrays the life of Hans Christian Andersen.  Following the performance, reunion attendees are invited to a private meet and greet reception with the cast.
